Our Mission

Assessing job readiness, job readiness skills including all forms of job search activities, preparing for pre-employment evaluation, job interviews, mock interview skills, filling out all forms of applications, proper dress, grooming, and appropriate skills relating to the pre-employment process.

Contacting employers based on the information given for employment goal, following up on scheduled interviews and acting as liaisons during the pre-employment and hiring process, ensuring that the employment is a good match, and that all expectations will be met for both the employer and employee. 

Retention and follow-up on the job, trouble shooting and problem solving with the client and employer, consistent contact with the client and/or the client's counselor/sponsor to note and significant issues.

This training is offered in all of the high schools in Central Alabama Reach Out Center's service area and is conducted in a classroom setting. The training focuses on Soft Skills Training to help prepare high school students to enter the workforce with knowledge, skills, and confidence.

This program is offered to high school students in Central Alabama Reach out Center's service area and is held during the months of June and July of each year. This training involves hands-on paid work experience AND Soft Skills training. Students leave this program with the skills and work habits needed to not only seek and obtain employment, but to maintain and excel in the position.

This class is offered throughout the year to high school students in Central Alabama Reach Out Center's service area. The purpose of this class is to cover the material in the Driver's Manuel, and to give each participant the information needed to pass the Alabama Department if Public Safety

s Permit Test. This class is also available to Adults if approved by the referring source.
